Horrible Indian women’s football !!

Other issues include sexual harassment allegations against officials, the suspension of clubs due to financial constraints, and poor performances in regional friendlies.

• • Poor Performance: The team suffered a major loss against Japan, highlighting a gap in quality. They also lost in a penalty shootout to Nepal in a friendly.

• • Administrative & Safety Concerns: An AIFF executive committee member was accused of physically assaulting two women footballers during a tournament.

• • Financial Instability: Kerala Blasters temporarily shut down their women’s team due to financial strain from fines imposed on the men’s team.

• • Lack of Development: Reports indicate a lack of consistent, high-level playing time for players at club level, limiting overall development.
